An extensive activities program both during and after the academic day is offered to all students at ISF as part of the SABIS® Student Life OrganizationTM. The program is designed to enrich students' educational experiences while helping students stay active. On offer are a wide variety of activities.
A new activities schedule comes out at the start of every school year. There is an initial sign-up period. All activities must have a minimum enrolment of six students. Some activities have a maximum enrolment limit, in order to ensure quality time and safety. When necessary, preference when enforcing enrolment limits will be given to students who have not previously participated in a certain activity. Good academic and behaviour standards are essential for participation. Attendance in Activities is required. Activity absences are handled in the same manner as are academic absences. Student Life points are earned for successful participation in activities. Some activities require a fee for either an outside instructor or for special supplies and materials. Extended Daycare Program An extended-day childcare program is offered
for students in grades KG 1 through G6 between the hours of 08:00-08:30
before classes start and from 15:20-18:00 after classes end. The Extended
Daycare room has various games and toys which the children may use to occupy
themselves. Extended Daycare is a time for unstructured play and relaxation
under adult supervision. All students may participate in Extended Daycare,
however parents must register their child in the program.
